Julie Van Nispen is the Supervisor/Head teacher of Bouncing Ball Nursery School. She has over 20 years experience in the childcare field. Julie is an Early Childhood Educator and is registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators. She has a degree in Sociology and diploma in Early Childhood Education Advanced Studies in Special Needs. Her first aid and CPR training is updated every three years. Julie continues to complete workshops on various topics to be current with changes in curriculum. Julie enjoys creating a variety of learning opportunities within the classroom and during group times to expand on the children’s interests and cater to a variety of developmental skills.
Shivawn Moorman will be joining the team this September as a Registered ECE. Shivawn is very familiar with Bouncing Ball Nursery School as both a parent and a volunteer on the Board of Directors in the role of VP and President. Following that, she spent some time in the classroom working as the Inclusion Facilitator alongside the other teachers. Shivawn has graduated from Georgian College with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. She is excited to be joining the team and we look forward to her bringing her energy and knowledge to this years classes.
Lindsay Horne-Martin has returned to Bouncing Ball as a third teacher for all of our classes. Previous to this, Lindsay held a position on our Board of Director’s as the Duty Roster. During that time Lindsay worked in all of the morning classes supporting the teachers. Lindsay updates her first aid and CPR every three years. Lindsay brings to the school her love for children and knowledge base/history of Bouncing Ball, as well as; her interest in pursuing early child hood courses.
Lesley Adams holds a Degree in Child and Youth Work. She has over 10 years experience working in the childcare field. Lesley updates her first aid and CPR every three years and continues to complete workshops on various topics to be current with changes in curriculum. Lesley‘s calm demeanour, organizational and knowledge of developmental skills assist all of the children to flourish in the classroom, all of this will be of great benefit in her role as the Inclusion Facilitator for this upcoming school year.
